Market Risk Project Manager

A Global Investment Bank is currently looking for a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join their Market Risk Change Management team. Specifically the role is to work within their Market Risk Engineering team which is responsible for the strategic Market Risk environment globally.

Currently they are undergoing a global roll-out for a number of applications and as such the role will have the following responsibilities:

- Working with Market Risk Managers and Market Risk Control staff to oversee the successful roll-out.
- Owning the regional Project Plan and monitoring project deliverables.
- Indirectly managing a team of Business Analysts to deliver the solution according to requirements.
- Managing key Non-Functional Requirements across the project
- Working with the Test Manager to derive a suitable test strategy for each phase of the project.

Candidates will be strong project managers with a background in Market Risk projects/methodology. Ideally candidates will have worked within a Market Risk control BAU role prior to moving into the change management space. You will need to understand concepts such as VaR, Internal Controls Framework and Basel II/III as well as having derivative product knowledge (Credit/FX/Rates). With the position facing off to senior stakeholders across the business, candidates will need to have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
