Market Risk Specialist – Brisbane recruitment
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Market Risk Specialist to join this well established institution based in Brisbane. Acting as a Senior Advisor within Market Risk, you will be responsible for financial risk identification and control, providing valuable insight and advice to the institution’s stakeholders through detailed quantitative analysis and ensuring compliance with financial market risk policies. A particular focus of this role will be maintaining, reviewing and enhancing valuation methodologies, risk analytics and systems.
Key technical skills and experience that should be demonstrated in undertaking the role include:
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the application of financial mathematics in a financial markets environment
• Solid experience in valuation methodologies and risk analytics, such as VaR
• Previous exposure to a range of market risk systems
• Excellent product knowledge in Financial Markets including FX, Interest Rates and related Derivatives
