Marketer recruitment
who have proven experience in targeting Sovereign and Governmental institutions. They will be responsible for raising capital, primarily from the Emerging Markets for Investment Management mandates, and for all aspects of liaising with the Business Development and Investment Management Teams.
The ideal candidate should have experience in raising capital for asset management products, or hedge funds.
Main duties
- Researching and generating new business relationships and negotiating new revenue.
- Develop and maintain effective client relationships.
- Maintain the highest standards of administration in accordance with the agreed sales process, ensuring that periodical reporting is accurately updated and that the required documentation is completed by the job holder and his/her team for all new business opportunities.
- Coordinate and review presentations, marketing materials, RFPs and proposal questionnaires.
- Attend prospect, client and industry meetings to build client and contact base.
- Leading regular meetings and ensuring effective monitoring of reporting process.
Requirements
- Proven track record of solution selling in the Emerging/Developed. Markets having led to the winning of multi million asset management mandates is a must.
- Strong network with Sovereign entities, Government and Financial institutions in a.m. markets.
- Ability to proactively identify new business development and fundraising opportunities,
- Language skills: Fluency in English/German a must, Arabic, Chinese or Portuguese a most welcome asset.
- Maintain regular communication with investors in order to ensure client queries and requests are answered in a timely accurate manner.
- Pragmatic, resilient, energetic and entrepreneurial with a very hands-on attitude.
- Strong organisation, communication, presentation and sales skills.
- Excellent relationship management and proven leadership skills.
