The Marketing Analyst will reportto the Golden Grain Lite Snacks Marketing Director within the Quaker Food Snacks business. The Marketing Analyst is responsible for managing the day-to-day business fundamentals of a dynamic portfolio of exciting brands, including Rice-A-Roni, Near East, Aunt Jemima, and Quaker Lite Snacks . In this role, the incumbent will have an opportunity to wear many hats, play a hands-on role, and manage the core business fundamentals across multiple brands and categories.
- Lead situation assessment and monthly performance tracking (e.g. IRI, shipments) across Rice-A-Roni, Pasta Roni, Near East, Aunt Jemima, and Quaker Lite snacks brands.
- Regularly analyze business results to track brand performance, program effectiveness, and competitive activity and identify new growth opportunities.
- Contribute to overall brand strategy, trade, and innovation plans to drive sales and profit of Aunt Jemima Pancake Mix Syrup, including situation assessment, annual planning, innovation, customization, and retailer-specific in-store programs.
- Oversee and manage the budget across all businesses within the portfolio, including management, tracking and analysis of program spending.
- Lead Club/Channel strategy including innovation, pricing, and financial analysis to identify and develop new distribution and special pack opportunities.
- Manage Sales communication and development process, including packaging mock-ups, sales materials and tools, POS, sell-sheets, samples, and trade shows/conventions.
- Collaborate with Sales/Category Management teams to lead SKU/shelf set management across all brands to optimize SKU mix and shelf impact.
- Manage websites and social media for four brands, including strategy, collaboration with internal digital team and external agency, newsletter and content development, and execution.
- Lead Hispanic strategy, partnerships, and in-store activation across Aunt Jemima and Roni brands.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 3-4 years of marketing experience, preferably at a top-tier CPG company
- Must have exceptional results orientation, with a high degree of personal initiative, optimism, and leadership, in a limited resource environment
- Must be skilled in analysis and problem solving, be well-organized, and have excellent project and financial management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills with a proven track record of leadership that delivers business results
- A good balance of creative and innovative thinking skills (intuition) coupled with the strategic, analytic and practical thinking skills
- Must have strong consumer understanding skills, translating insights into winning marketing plans and a high degree of creativity to find new, compelling ways to reach and communicate to consumers
