Marketing Analyst Job in Houston 77002, Texas US
The Marketing Business Analyst will working in the Cooper Marketing group and ingrained in all aspects of the Cooper Customer Portal website. Main responsibilities will include the evolution and implementation of the a new portal, analysis of web analytics data and evaluating site performance (capacity, customer experience, fall out points, etc). This position will collaborate with various departments to prioritize and execute continuous improvement/channel growth using online and offline data analysis. They will also be required to use various analytical tools to uncover trends and provide insight that will maximize online marketing efforts along with overall business objectives. This role will research and analyze business trends, including mobile commerce and customer behavior data to identify opportunities for portal enhancements and new marketing initiatives. The candidate must understand the key performance drivers related to web marketing’s. Lastly they will be held responsible for supporting division marketing teams and building out actionable executive management communication on a weekly basis.
• Provide business support for US and Global Marketing teams which includes prioritizing enhancements, creating business requirements documents, workflow process definition and documentation
• Work closely with IT for implementation of Content Management and E-Commerce systems, user case development, user acceptance testing, etc.
• Understanding of mobile strategy for portals and ability to translate business needs to this growing channel
• Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
• SAP experience preferred but not required
• Web Analytic dashboards
o Provide Web Analytics analysis to Cooper Divisions along with implementing new programs and initiatives.
o Work with Cooper Divisions in providing analytical insight on business performance
• Researching and analyzing business trends customer behavior data to identify opportunities for website enhancements
• Demonstration of business capabilities with tools such as Excel
• Prior experience in Business Analyst roles
• Understanding of how to gather business requirements and articulate business needs to help IT build solutions
• Understanding of online marketing and web analytics
• Generating customized solution designs for measuring online metrics and integrating offline metrics
• Demonstration of skills in applying statistical analysis principles to business challenges.
• Demonstration of communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work well with others.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; self-starter
• Basic Understanding of Web Development Methodology
