Marketing Analyst Job in Walnut Creek, California US

Primary Duties:

- Generates and maintains marketing mail files.

- Applies technical analyses to efficiently check the quality of the files.

- Manages and ensures the success of campaign generation process, supports and administers analytic, research or campaign management applications.

- Work with program managers to execute the campaign specifications.

- Supports ongoing business analysis through the programming and production of standard reports or back-end marketing campaign analysis.

- Under direction, works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for long periods of time.

- May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences.

- Approximately 50-80 percent of time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.

Knowledge, Skills Abilities

Required:

- Knowledge of marketing analytic disciplines including Customer Research, Customer Data Analysis and Database Marketing.

- Solid teamwork skills and working under tight deadlines

- Knowledge of marketing principles, concepts, techniques and applications

- Written, visual and interpersonal communication skills, including proofreading and editing

- Strong mathematical skills, analytical/research skills Knowledge of analytic or campaign management software

- Strong SAS skills and knowledge

- Bachelor's degree in applicable field (BA/BS degree in business, statistics, computer science or related discipline)

- 3- 5 years DM Marketing experience

- 2- 3 years Hands-on experience with analytic or campaign management software is desired

Preferred:

- Advanced degree
