Marketing Analyst recruitment
SecondMarket, Inc is hiring an experienced Marketing Analyst to join a dynamic and talented team. The Marketing Analyst will report to the Marketing Manager and will be based in New York City. The successful individual will be a superior writer, very analytical, extremely organized, a digital expert (SEM and HTML) and a self-starter looking to contribute to a small, fast-moving marketing team. The position will assume the following responsibilities:
- Create compelling and differentiated content including presentations, short whitepapers, quarterly market reports, web content, brochures, surveys and competitive analysis that can be leveraged throughout the organization.
- Contribute to messaging strategy across markets and corporate branding initiatives.
- Manage monthly update process to sales collateral, ensuring ongoing improvement.
- Meet all key deadlines and deliverables for monthly sales and marketing deck process.
- Develop product knowledge and work with sales team to position SecondMarket as a thought leader.
- Support manager in growing and optimizing the firm’s SEM program and staying abreast of current search engine trends and best practices.
- Recommend improvements to SEM campaigns, including account structure, bidding, ad copy and keyword development.
Skills/Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
- 2-3 years of relevant marketing experience, including demonstrated experience in generating content for marketing campaigns.
- Demonstrated writing capability. (writing samples will be requested)
- Superior knowledge of HTML.
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems such as WordPress, Drupal, etc.
- Must be able to work well in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
