Position Description:

Overview:
The Investment Information Group (IIG) has an open position for a Marketing Analyst based on the Boston office supporting the firm's fixed income products. The Marketing Analyst will report to Ian Shields.

IIG as a whole is responsible for responding to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) from prospective clients, creating and maintaining product-related marketing materials, and populating consultant databases. This role is specifically dedicated to fixed income and the responsibilities outlined below.

Responsibilities:
The Marketing Analyst is generally responsible for covering a certain number of fixed income products and backing up the rest of the team on other products, as needed. Responsibilities for the position include:
? Responding to RFPs
? Maintaining product-related marketing materials such as marketing generic presentations, investment profiles, and fact sheets
? Collaborating with Product Management to keep product information current as well as on ad hoc projects
? Assisting in ongoing team projects
? Interacting with many other departments within the Firm, including the Global Relationship Group, to support the firm and win new business in accordance with the Marketing Information Guidelines

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, as well as 4+ years professional experience in both investment management and marketing communications. The ideal candidate will also have excellent quantitative and communication skills, as well as strong attention to detail. An MBA or CFA, or progress toward these qualifications, will be considered a plus. Familiarity with the RFP Machine/RFP Express will also be viewed favorably.

The individual must be an independent self-starter, a team player, and able to work on multiple assignments and complete high quality work against strict and competing deadlines that are dictated by prospects, consultants, and clients. The analyst will work in a team environment, but will have sole responsibility for assigned fixed income products. The position requires extensive use of internal and external systems and databases, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. A positive, collegial attitude and a high level of professionalism are essential, and a sense of humor is absolutely required.
