Role Purpose  

To support the Head of Marketing Communications, North Asia. in the implementation of the marketing strategy, promotion of the brand, production of marketing collateral and execution of events in Hong Kong, and when necessary, occasionally in mainland China.

The role will be required to work very closely internally with members of the Marketing Communications team and other stakeholders based in Hong Kong and Singapore, and externally with third-party partners.

•          Event management

-     To manage internal events such as Townhall and other workshops for internal staff.  From venue sourcing and booking, coordination of set-up arrangements with third-parties, to communication with internal staff and RSVP management.

-     Implementation of initiatives to improve client experience and flawless execution of client events.  The role covers coordination and management of all third parties involved including venue, staging, as well as other vendors, RSVP management and communications with Private Bankers and Client Relationship Associates on the event arrangements.

•          Internal communications – to support deployment of internal communication programmes

•          Branding - to support promotion of the brand including advertising, sponsorship, branded premium.

•          Marketing literature – to support literature development including development of brochures, client pitch books and other marketing materials.  Editing of translation for marketing collaterals.

•          Media relation – To support the Head of Marketing and Communications, North Asia, in implementing media strategy for Hong Kong.  To assist in coordination with spokespersons, PR agency and media planner in pursing identified media opportunities that include bylined articles and advertorial placement, media interviews, etc.

•          Administrative support to the Head of Marketing and Communications, North Asia, and to the department including invoice processing, inventory control of branded premium and marketing collaterals, etc.

Requirements

•          6 to 10+ years marketing experience including strategic marketing planning, event management, brand promotion and literature development

•          Degree level qualification or equivalent

•          Track record in financial services, particularly wealth management will be an advantage.  Experience in HNW or luxury market will also be an advantage.

•          Good customer and HK/China market insights with knowledge of the needs of the high net worth client

•          Strategic thinking with strong operational capability.  Organised, detail-oriented.  Self-motivation and can work independently

•          Mature with good inter-personal skills 

•          Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders   

•          Excellent verbal and written English and Chinese

•          Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
