MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR (M/F) Job in Luxembourg 1331


THE JOB:

As the Marketing Communications Coordinator, your primary role will be to co-ordinate and support all external marketing communications activity for Europe. In fulfilling this role, you will help create and support marketing communications plans, manage the MarCom calendar, implement communication activities, track and analyze their performance while ensuring that the overall branding and strategic objectives are met through PR, event and sponsorship initiatives. Team work is the key to the success of this role. The incumbent will possess the skills necessary to lead and communicate effectively with internal and external partners i.e; partnership opportunities for promotions, media opportunities, and grass roots events in the European market. Reports to Internal contacts: Close alignment to the corporate Marketing Communications Team, work directly with and has relationships with selected European PR agencies, and works with territory managers and in market partners to ensure consistent news cycles, sponsorship, and event participation.

Responsibilities/Duties

• Country reporting: provide weekly reports to assess marketing communications program results, report findings and recommend improvements or changes

• Participate in the development and implementation of strategic communications planning

• Works with team to develop and support comprehensive brand marketing communications strategies that support the overall strategic direction

• Provide expertise and share knowledge with internal clients on external partners

• Support the planning, development, creation and execution of PR and event initiatives including:

     o New local media and event opportunities, plans to target lifestyle, tech, apps, devices, business, etc., identify local, in market sponsorship opportunities.
     o Develop creative, content, and positioning for local PR and events and communications campaigns across integrated communications channels o Provide expertise and share knowledge on creative direction and in market messaging and positioning

• Defines and builds the online story and content and provides direction for maintenance and content creation to ensure effective web presence that positions the Company as a 'news' leader

     o Responsible for the co-ownership of the web presence by working closely with the Online MarCom team on the content and look feel of the website to ensure that this becomes a valuable resource for the latest news and information
     o Develops online marketing communications strategies for Europe

THE CANDIDATE PROFILE:

• Post-secondary education (degree or diploma) in the areas of Marketing, Communications, Media

• Relations or Public Relations combined with related professional experience

• 4 -7 years related work experience in progressively more responsible positions

• 2-3 years supervisory experience; proven ability to direct and motivate staff and to work as a team member
