Marketing and Communications Executive recruitment
Marketing and Communications provides an integrated approach to increasing the profile of the firm and its products. As a global department, it is responsible for coordinating the marketing and promotion of the company’s entire product range. The Global Communications function is responsible for overseeing the range of media and thought leadership activities of the firm, as well as employee communications.
Description of position:
The role is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day creation of content and communications/marketing materials to help drive thought leadership activities of the firm. The successful candidate will monitor and evaluate the firm’s editorial and marketing content and work with colleagues to ensure that the output of the role is successfully leveraged across the department.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Campaign oversight. The successful candidate with be required to manage content-focused campaigns from start-to-finish, coordinating all activities including
- Message development. Working closely with the Marketing and Communications team, he/she will be expected to prepare the core message platforms for all new campaigns. Working closely with internal clients and executive management, the candidate will ensure the most accurate and potent tailoring of messages;
- News cycle. He/she will write initial drafts, co-ordinate with agencies where appropriate, and manage the creation of editorial content such as research reports, bylines and op-eds, and blog posts – as well as marketing materials such as brochures, sell-sheets, and other website copy;
- Project management. He/she will coordinate the content-focused activities to ensure that all relevant activities are taking place to ensure a successful program;
- Timely creation and execution of campaigns
- Comprehensive map of activity out several months
- Message creation. The successful candidate will work closely with the Marketing and Communications team to develop strong, consistent messages at a corporate and product level and to maintain an up-to-date and easily accessible library of this positioning;
- Market/Company research. The successful candidate will research and write articles, blogs and other content as part of The firm’s’s mission to expand its thought leadership role in the industry. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Support and expansion of the Data Points market research program. This series of research notes provides media with insightful story-starters based around data and information generated by The firm’s;
- Creation of custom content. As the department develops, there is an increasing need for specific content for media outlets, tailored to specific needs. Researching and producing this content will be the role of the successful candidate;
- Digital media. He/she will provide content for electronic media, such as The firm’s websites, LinkedIn and other new media where there is an opportunity to develop The firm’s brand.
Skills Required:
- Advanced writing skills, ideally focused in financial services

Background:
- At least five years of experience in corporate communications and/or journalism
- At least three years working in/around capital markets/fixed income trading
- Digital media background an advantage
