Marketing Assistant

Responsibilities -Schedule meetings, reserve conference rooms, assist in event planning. -Write and edit various charts and marketing materials -Create presentations focusing on digital and strategic marketing -Assists in creating new marketing materials including but not limited to printed materials such as brochures and ads as well as digital media such as on-line ads, web sites, social media pages, e-mails and presentations. -Takes photos to be used for press kits and marketing materials. -Edits photos using photo editing software such as Adobe Photoshop. -Assists in pre trade show marketing efforts. -Print, copy and distribute various materials as needed -Maintain marketing library and records: organize digital files, storage, and supplies -Assists in assembling press kits prior to major trade shows. -Travel out of state or overnight for meetings and events Working hours: 8:00am-5:00pm Qualifications/Requirements -Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field -Minimum of 2-3 years experience working in marketing, can include internships -Expertise with Microsoft business communication tools and programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. -Proficiency in Adobe: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign etc., and other advanced creative design skills -Able to exercise good judgment and be a flexible team player -Extremely detail oriented and well organized -Must be comfortable in a fast-paced environment -Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
