Responsibilities
This is a key role within Moody's Analytics' Marketing Product Strategy team, with specific focus on supporting the Product Marketing of Moody's Investors Service (MIS) Research and Data Content. The role is based in New York and reports to the Head of the U.S. MIS Content Marketing Communications team.

You will be a hands-on member of a team charged with building awareness for MIS content and the clear communication of service value to globally based clients. In this role you will support the Product Strategy team in the development and execution of integrated product marketing strategies including the effective packaging, positioning and distribution of the MIS services to clients and prospects through multiple channels (such as e-mail, sales, website, external sources, etc.).

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Communications
- Implement targeted promotional campaigns to build awareness for MIS Content in collaboration with managers across Moody's Investors Service and Moody's Analytics
- Coordinate marketing communication initiatives for MIS Research and Data Services
- Coordinate and track sales prospecting and lead qualification activities
- Support brand building and advertising projects and identify new communications channels; research and present new ideas to the team
- Record and analyze key metrics related to marketing initiatives and communications campaigns

Promotional Material Development
- Produce and internally advertise product collateral materials, including:
- Product brochures
- Sales and customer service training and support materials
- Produce external collateral and positioning materials, including:
- Advertising
- Other brand-building opportunities

Market Research Activities
- Assist with market research initiatives related to client and prospective clients, including both on-line and off-line research
- Track and present key findings

Other
- Provide support as needed for all other marketing communications projects

Qualifications
A successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, Finance or Economics
- Understanding of fixed income/credit markets desirable; Experience within Financial Services or Consulting industry a plus
- Strong analytical and creative skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and able to manage several projects at once and communicate proactively, without close supervision
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and manipulate high volumes of data in an analytical capacity
- Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, or similar software (SQL, Salesforce.com, or other marketing platform experience a plus)
- Ability to excel in a global, team-based environment
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
- Quick learner; shows initiative and willingness to learn new things
- High level of confidence interacting with senior business professionals
