Marketing & Business Development Executive recruitment

Our client, a leading independent MA adviser within the financial services sector, is seeking a graduate to join the team to co-ordinate the firm’s marketing activities and to input into the firm’s strategy in relation to its web, social media and e-marketing activities.

The firm has made a considerable IT investment in developing a proprietary CRM database which provides contact details for every financial services company in the UK and which powers certain analytics on the firm’s external website. You must therefore be computer literate, comfortable inworking with databases and highly familiarwith Microsoft Office products (especially Excel and Word).

In return, you will join a small team within a professional services environment where you will have senior level exposure and be able to take responsibility for key elements of the firm’s marketing strategy from early on in your career.

Principal duties responsibilities:

• Co-ordinating production and delivery of the firm’s monthly emails, quarterly statistical updates, annual reviews and ad hoc mailshots;

• Working with the CIO and Head of Research to maintain the integrity of the database;

• Reviewing analytics from the web and email marketing campaigns to improve engagement with the target audience;

• Identifying improvements to the external website and current e-marketing activities;

• Working with the Head of IT to specify enhancements to the internal database and external website (and liaising with our 3rd party system developers to test and implement enhancements); and

• Deputising for the office manager in her absence.

Successful candidates will possess:
