The Red Cross Training Team based in Salford Quays has an exciting opportunity for a Marketing and Communications Executive.

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing integrated marketing and communications across first aid training campaigns for the general public, in particular first aid for baby and child and first aid for adults.

Reporting to the B2C Campaign Manager you will work as part of the Marketing team in the implementation of marketing plans designed to support business growth and achievement of first aid training targets. The post holder will provide marketing and communication support to effectively deliver marketing plans, exhibitions and events and commercial partnerships for BRC.

• Devise and implement communication strategies to promote public first aid training.
• To work with the Digital Manager and Digital Executive responsible for public training online campaigns, affiliate partners and social media strategy
• Proactively work with the Digital Executive to agree and produce content for public first aid newsletters, engaging with prospect and customer database to achieve business growth through retention and recruitment of public customer base.
• Work with other territory communication teams and UK Office to actively source and develop first aid stories, case studies and testimonials for use in media activity to raise the profile of public first aid through PR channels.
• Maintain and develop public training exhibitions and events, to achieve awareness and increase business growth.
• Work closely with the National Accounts team on strategic commercial partnership opportunities to support internal and external communications to proactively help generate business growth in line with BRC brand guidelines
• Manage varying projects as required by the B2C Campaign Manager
• Produce and execute measurable marketing campaigns
• Develop up-to-date and accurate awareness of competitor behaviour and recommend appropriate marketing activity to respond accordingly to market trends
• Contribute to the annual marketing plan to support business growth
• Deliver on varying projects and reports in a planned and timely manner
• Give recommendations for improvement all aspects of our marketing activity, both on and offline.

As a Marketing and Communications Executive you will be a dynamic, creative and highly motivated self-starter with excellent copy writing and communications skills with the desire to succeed. Qualified to degree level or equivalent you will posses a recognised professional marketing qualification and have a strong background in sales. You will have experience of providing a range of marketing techniques supporting multi sales channels web, call centre and corporate sales. Experience in managing projects, producing presentations and managing production of materials will all be essential to your success. Possessing excellent communication skills you will be fully IT literate and have a strong understanding of how marketing fits into strategic, integrated communications plans.

You will currently be a Marketing Executive, Marketing and Communications Executive, Marketing Sales Executive or Campaign Executive.
