Marketing & Communications Manager – Global Asset Manager – Singapore – SE Asia recruitment
The company have a strong range of traditional asset class funds and have offices in major financial centres around the globe. They are looking to expand their business in Asia with the hire of a marketing person to be responsible for marketing communications, public relations and event organisation.
The main responsibilities will include:
• Tailor and adapt marketing materials for local requirements - client and region specific
• Develop localised materials that assist in promoting the company's capabilities
• Translating, creating and reviewing marketing materials, with a focus on Hong Kong and Taiwan
• Ensuring that all marketing materials are legal and compliance approved
• Developing and maintaining a list of journalist contacts
• Cultivating relationships with journalists in each region to develop themes, product and service promotions to raise the company's standing and reputation
• Managing events activity including conferences and sponsorships
The ideal candidate for this position will likely demonstrate the following skills and experiences:
• At least three to five years of experience in a marketing/events management role, preferrably at an institutional asset manager
• Experience of producing and updating marketing materials
• Language skills are highly beneficial - particularly Mandarin, Cantonese and Taiwanese
• Experience of organising events and conferences
