Job Description: Marketing Communications Manager
The Marketing Communications Manager is responsible for identifying, developing and executing all promotional communications to build brand awareness, generate sales leads, and support the sales process. The marketing channels will include direct mail, email, online, social, events, webinars, press releases, etc. The Marketing Communications Manager will be working with both internal and external partners including sales, management, graphic designers, IT and outside consultants.
Position Responsibilities:
- Create annual marketing plan
- Build and maintain marketing calendar and cadence
- Develop measurement criteria for marketing objectives
- Manage and execute all communication activities and public relations
- Work with external resources, as necessary
- Write or oversee writing of all copy
- Manage marketing database
- Develop and manage a lead generation process
- Develop and manage communications budget
- Maintain website development and messaging to ensure consistency with brand and objectives
- Build media relations and manage PR and press releases
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related course of study
- Strong creative writing skills
- General understanding and comfort with marketing technology platforms
- 7-10 years experience in the marketing field
- 3 years experience in leading multi-channel B2B marketing communications programs
- Thorough understanding of branding principles and multi-channel tactics including the web
- Self directed and willing to run with the ball
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Working knowledge of marketing databases or CRM systems
- Superior written and verbal communications skills, and highly developed interpersonal skills
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to multi-task
