Marketing & Communications – SEA & HK

They have been building out their team in Asia over the past few years as they look to target the institutional and retail markets in the region. As part of their continued growth, they are now looking to add an experience marketing manager to their team in Hong Kong. The candidate will provide support to the Head of Marketing and the overall Asian business, with a particular focus on the Southeast Asia and Hong Kong markets.

The main responsibilities will include:
•    Assisting in the development and implentation of a marketing strategy to increase brand and product awareness in Southeast Asia and Hong Kong
•    Co-ordinating with the firms Singapore office to ensure marketing initiatives are relevant to local markets
•    Planning and hosting events and investor conferences to lead regional growth
•    Advising on digitial marketing initatives including website content and mobile strategies
•    Working closely with global marketing to ensure a consistent business strategy, as well as maintaining strong relationships with internal and external parties
•    Evaluating and providing monthyl reports on competitors' activities

The suitable candidate for this role will likely demonstrate the following:
• At least five years of marketing and communications experience, preferrably gained at a mutual fund manager, retail bank or insurance firm
• Proficiency in written English and Chinese and spoken Cantonese
• An in-depth understanding of the Southeast Asia and in particular, Singapore, market, as well as proven experience of working there
• Frequent travel to Southeast Asia
