Provide strong strategic input and drive execution of different marketing initiatives to develop the retail direct channel, formulate marketing strategy to promote retail direct business targeting mass affluent and high-net-worth customer segments. These will be supported by main deliverables including but not limited to high quality product and service promotion campaigns, asset gathering promotions, customer acquisition and retention programs, investor education and communication, fund marketing collaterals and tools for prospects and existing investor. Oversee marketing related elements of the retail direct channel with regard to promotion of product and service propositions and customer acquisition and engagement related programmes, working collaboratively with other marketing colleagues in HK and regional offices. Stay on top of product and services initiatives for the channel and support execution from a marketing perspective, including external communication to clients and business partners to engage these stakeholders in a positive way. Meet regularly with channel team to contribute to and understand progress made against core business goals and initiatives and how marketing may best support them. Manage marketing budget against set business target including but not limited to acquisition, retention and market share. Meet regularly with colleagues within sales teams, customer services and product groups to understand and identify opportunities and challenges and provide marketing-related solutions. Collaborate with business partners. Drive the development and maintenance of professional, insightful and creative marketing literature and tools for on-going product promotion and maintenance purposes. Ensure efficient and optimized processes and schedule are established and maintained for the delivery of marketing communications output across channels, including the effective management of vendors. Support marketing communication and investor education requirements with client groups. Effectively manage and reconcile an annual channel budget for optimal marketing support.

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with marketing qualifications and a minimum of 6 years of marketing experience with 4 years in financial services marketing, preferably with the retail fund / wealth management side from bank, brokerage, insurance or asset management company’s sales or marketing group. Must have expert knowledge in mutual funds, investor behaviour and enthusiasm for investment products and markets. Ability to communicate product and market knowledge in an engaging and creative way. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. Innovative and creative, with strong business sense and market knowledge. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to accept new challenges and changes. Team player. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese. Excellent budget management skills. PC proficient (knowledge of PowerPoint, Word and Excel is essential).
