MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS, SENIOR MANAGER recruitment

The primary responsibility of this role is to drive, advance and manage the provision of strategic product positioning and messaging for marketing purpose. Involve the delivery of product and investment market information and analysis on existing and new funds. Product coverage across the different business channels eg. retail, intermediary and institutional. Delivery will cover a range of product marketing and communications output in an engaging and creative way for different internal and external audiences. Generate creative, innovative ways in which to improve the quality of fund marketing materials, and design and manage product marketing tools for sales, marketing and maintenance purposes. Manipulation of databases and other relevant sources to produce accurate and meaningful outputs. Meet regularly with the business heads to contribute to and understand progress made against core business goals and initiatives and how marketing may best support them. Stay abreast of financial markets happenings and trends, and asset management industry trends and challenges. Drive proactive, insightful, informed product positioning and messaging for marketing deliverables, such as advertisement, campaign, event themes and content, fund launch material, marketing literature and presentations. Initiate, create and implement client retention tools in the form of ad hoc product analysis, sales ideas and fund positioning stories. Illustrate fund information inclusive of portfolio characteristics, performance, etc., properly within the context of the market environment, competitive landscape, industry trends, regulation changes, etc. Stay on top of internal product initiatives and support execution from a marketing perspective, including external communication to clients and business partners to engage these stakeholders in a positive way. Ensure efficient and optimized processes are established and maintained for the delivery of marketing communications output across channels.

To be considered, you should be a degree holder with a minimum of 8 years of experience in financial services, preferably in asset management house. Sound knowledge and enthusiasm for investment products, the industry and markets. Ability to communicate product and markets knowledge in an engaging and creative way. With a broad understanding of the mutual funds industry and a well developed understanding of investment products. Strong communication skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese. Good computer skills.
