Marketing Communication Specialist

The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for all Marketing Communication activities within the Benelux and Channels region (Benelux, Scandinavia, South- and East Europe, Russia, Middle East and Latin America).

The Benelux Channels Marketing team (3 people) is responsible for lead generation, branding and retention for the LexisNexis Business Information Solutions portfolio in the assigned regional area in some of which LexisNexis works closely with local distributors.

The Benelux Channels Marketing team is part of LNI Business Information Solutions, a cross regional business unit with employees in The Netherlands, UK, France, Germany, Russia and Belgium.

Duties and Responsibilities

Marketing Communications:

Ä      Aligns the Marketing and Communication activities with business outcomes, strategy and budge

Ä      Executes Marketing Communication strategies and tactics (events, social, web, telemarketing, direct mail, user meetings, etc.).

Ä      Gives textual input for marketing collateral (i.e. brochures, newsletters, websites and other materials).

  Ä      Communicates and aligns plans with Sales and other stakeholders. 

Marketing Operational and Reporting:

Ä      Responsible for the translation for Marketing Maps (i.e. plans) to campaigns, including budget, target audience, goal of campaigns, projected revenue etc. and presents this to the Marketing Manager.

Ä      Contributes to further develop products, solutions and markets. Works with Market and Product plan

Ä      Acts as Brand manager

Ä      Reports to the Marketing Manager on progress in marketing projects, actions to be taken to keep performance in line with the targets, marketing events and trends and developments in the market.

Ä      Contributes to further develop products, solutions and markets. Works with Market and Product planners and Content to do so.

Ä      Develops and maintains relations with external business partners, suppliers and customers.

 

Qualifications and Experience

Ä      Minimum Bachelor degree level (in Marketing, International Business or related field of study)

Ä      Marketing experience equivalent to Nima B level

Ä      Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a commercial B-to-B environment, experience in (online) Publishing or Information industry is a pre.

Ä      Marketing generalist, experienced in all marketing disciplines

Ä      Flexible, good planner and full of (new) ideas

Ä      High level of initiative and self motivation, with the ability to work in a team environment.

Ä      Good networking, presentation and communication skills at all levels.

Ä      Fluent in Dutch and English, verbal and writing and knowledge of one other European language (German, French, Russian, Portuguese or Spanish).

Ä      Ability to effectively handle large number of activities and reprioritize when necessary to ensure revenue goals are achieved.

Ä      Ability to effectively deal with changing business objectives, market circumstances, in- or external expectations or challenges as well as changes within LexisNexis product and service offerings.

Ä      This role requires incidental travel to other business units or clients.
