POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketing Communications (Marcom) Specialist will drive the promotion of the IntelliPower, Inc. brand and the company’s products utilizing the most effective communication vehicles available and in a customer-oriented manner. This position involves working with the CEO and VP of Sales and Marketing to plan and implement effective promotional plans for products and focused markets.
Duties Include:
· Manage, improve, and update company website – inter and intranet
o Website optimization
· Development of marketing literature
o Specification sheets
o Capabilities brochures
o Company templates
o PowerPoint presentations
· Lead tracking and management of CRM system
o Management of sales leads
o Updating of CRM system
o Creation of Key Performance Indictors to measure marketing effectiveness
· Coordination with outside agencies
o Printing and production of literature and artwork
· Identification of opportunities for IntelliPower to exhibit at or attend
o Design, setup and act as point person for all exhibitions
o Provide reports and follow-up initiatives for sales leads
· E-marketing campaigns, editorial and product launches
· Market and competitor intelligence gathering
· Provide Manufacturers’ Sales Reps product literature and marketing support
· Company branding efforts
· Assist in creation of the annual marketing communications budget with the VP of Sales and Marketing
Requirements:
· 5+ years of Marketing experience in a technical field – preferably electronic manufacturing
· Bachelor’s degree or above in Communications, Marketing, English, Engineering, or related field
· Work experience in the military and industrial markets
· Excellent skills in all Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
· Proficiency in graphic software (Adobe Photoshop, etc.)
· Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
· Social media experience a plus
