Rock Recruitment Specialists are looking for a Marketing Compliance Consultant to join their clients elite Risk and Compliance team.
JOB PURPOSE
To ensure that all sales and marketing materials, in whatever medium, comply with the FSA's rules on financial promotions and any other relevant regulations.
KEY OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reviews and proof-reads all sales and marketing materials, in whatever medium, to ensure that they comply with FSA regulations and other relevant codes of practice
- Maintains an effective sign-off process for compliance and audit purposes and is responsible for identifying any gaps and recommending changes where these arise
- Creates and runs financial promotions training sessions for marketing staff to help inform their understanding of how the relevant rules apply to the materials they create
- Sets guidelines and identifies suitable marketing staff for sign-off of new, low-risk financial promotions items and/or temporary extensions of existing items
- Sets and agrees sign-off service levels with key stakeholders such as Marketing and Sales Monitors performance against these service levels utilising statistics via the compliance management system (PPAM)
To be considered for the Marketing Compliance Consultant role you will have the following skills and experience:
- Detailed knowledge of financial promotions rules and all other rules and regulations relating to the performance of this role is essential
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Good technical knowledge of Health and Protection products is ideal (but not essential);
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong relationship skills are required in order to forge successful working partnerships with key stakeholders
