Job Summary: The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating and assisting new residents with all aspects of their transitions to and from the community. You will also provide support to the sales and marketing team. This includes answering phones, conducting tours and meeting with prospective residents as needed. Schedule - Tuesday - Friday 10am-6:30pm
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate refurbishing, cleaning and inspection of units after move-out and before move-in with the Director of Engineering and Housekeeping
- Communicate incoming resident's special needs or requirements to the Director of Resident Services
- Fulfill occupancy goals as described in the annual budget
- Support marketing team by assisting with tours, telephone inquiries, hosting functions, and community outreach, as directed by the Marketing Director
- Support occupancy goals through effective planning of move-ins, move-outs and in-house transfers
- Assist incoming residents with all facets of transition and move to the property.
Qualified candidates will possess the following requirements:
- Ability to professionally represent Brookdale Senior Living
- Some college coursework and/or related experience preferred; High School Diploma or GED required.
- Proven track record of excellent sales and customer service experience is required.
- Highly proficient with computers and software programs to include MS Office Suite required
- Ability to work some evenings and weekends required.
- Strong attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 3 to 5 years of administrative experience, preferably in the retirement, medical, or pharmaceutical sales industry.
- Preference will be given to individuals with senior housing experience and to candidates who possess a dedicated commitment to serving the elderly population.
