Marketing Coordinator Job in Los Angeles 90015, California US
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Provides support in all facets of the Marketing Services department. Provides project management from conception to completion. Assists in devising practices and guidelines to create efficiencies in the Marketing department. Serves as budget coordinator and office manager for department (supplies, magazine subscriptions, invoices, etc.). Performs special projects as assigned. This position is located in downtown Los Angeles, California.
CORE DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creation and maintenance of jobs in Marketing Central as needed by various Marketing Managers
Oversee routing of material to relevant Subject Matter Experts in Product, Advanced Marketing, and Compliance as deemed necessary by Marketing Managers
Completes and assists in special projects (including support for Marketing Director and Product and Concepts Group)
Routing and completion of Field Requests including maintenance of a database to track law approvals and submission of tracking
Creates PowerPoint presentations and excel spreadsheets
Coordinates meetings and webinars
Coordinates Merrill inventory alerts for the Department
Provides phone support
BCP coordinator for department
Makes recommendations for setting processes to create efficiencies for the Marketing department
REQUIRED SKILLS and EDUCATION:
Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience.
Ability to function well and maintain professionalism in high pressure, time-sensitive situations.
Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks simultaneously.
Ability to interact effectively with people at all levels within and outside the organization.
Detail oriented.
Strong experience with MS Office products, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
Ability to work independently and as a team player.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem solving and analytical skills
Strong organization and time management skills
Good follow-up/follow-through.
Ability to balance support to several staff members.
PREFERRED SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:
- Previous Marketing experience
