Marketing Coordinator

 

Position Summary:

Creates both restaurant and music awareness.  Gathers all market and media data.  Distributes promotional material and manages network to create the steady flow of patrons necessary for a profitable day to day operation.

 

Reports to:

Owner, and works closely with Music Director and General Manager

 

Must Haves:

v      A great appreciation of music and well rounded knowledge of a diverse range of music.

v      Excellent marketing skills and strategy to sell tickets and make a profitable operation, and increase awareness of The Compound.

v      Excellent social media skills to sell tickets and grow awareness to The Compound.

 

Job Tasks:

v      Promotes music awareness through:

§         Website including bios

§         Eblasts

§         Press releases and media awareness

§         Social Media

§         Printed material

§         Street Teams

§         Purchase and maintain advertising

 

v      Networks with the following in a 5 mile radius:

§         Hotels

§         Apartments

§         Businesses with 20 or more employees

§         Retirement Communities

§         Residential HOA

 

v      Coordinates front of house activities with Hostess Server Groups

§         Create food and show awareness

§         Distribute promotional materials

§         Show flyers

§         Maintain communicate food drink specials

v      Maintain publication calendars

v      Onstage promotion

Requirements:

v      Previous marketing, communications and/or sales experience

v      Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously

v      Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills

v      Experience with social media networks

 

Bonus Attributes:

v      Experience using Adobe Creative Suite programs

v      Hospitality/Restaurant/Live Music Venue Experience

v      Marketing Degree from a 4-year college
