Position Title: Marketing Coordinator
Reports To: CEO
This newly developed position will directly assist Hearts Afire, a small but vibrant Christian humanitarian organization with global vision founded in 2006, to grow to the next level in our ministry impact. See www.heartsafire.us for more information.
It is a dual-role function responsible for supporting the overall promotion, branding and marketing of the organization while directly managing the office operation and required administrative duties.

Primary Responsibilities:
· Design and implement marketing strategies
· Support fundraising events including the creation of posters, press releases and other collateral materials
· Manage and update the website
· Develop and maintain a social media presence for the organization
· Create marketing materials and presentation displays
· Arrange outreach speaking opportunities and coordinate engagements to church groups, civic organizations, etc.
· Works with volunteers to assist in marketing efforts
· Draft and edit correspondence and other written materials
· Manage day to day office functions and operations
· Maintain Database of donors, partners and vendors
· Organize financial records and monthly reports
· Coordinate travel arrangements with travel agency for international mission teams
· Support board meetings and annual retreats
Qualifications: Possess a strong faith in Jesus Christ as Savior, live a God-honoring lifestyle and have a passion for the Word of God. In addition, the applicant will have the following skills, abilities and experience:
- Demonstrated alignment with the company’s vision, mission and values. Should have fruitful and growing relationships with others and share the values of bringing hope to those in need.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Public Relations: a minimum of 5 years experience with proven results.
- Experience in strategic marketing, planning and administration preferred.
- Experience managing multiple projects effectively while meeting budgets deadlines.
- Must have basic graphic design abilities
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and order
- Proficient working with using an Apple computer and using MS Office.
- Previous experience in a fast paced, growth oriented organization
- Able to meet changing priorities, multi-task, and meet deadlines
- Should have fruitful and growing relationships with others and share the values of bringing hope to those in need.
- Effective and strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Proven interest and ability to give presentations and represent the organization to various levels of the community
- Ability to travel internationally if needed
- Ability to work flexible hours to be available for meetings and community outreach
