Marketing Coordinator
Who We Are:
Summit Management, beautifully located on the St. Croix River riverfront in charming downtown Stillwater, owns and operates several properties throughout the state of Minnesota. From luxury student housing, luxury apartments, manufactured home communities, and a local lake resort, our focus is providing residents with affordable housing in great communities. We manage and maintain all of our properties with on-site management.
Our Opportunity:
We seek an innovative individual with a self-driven personality that has the desire to lead our Marketing Initiatives Administrative Operations. We target audiences and have been using print ad, social media, web marketing, radio, and television. We are looking to sharpen all current marketing operations, and aim to hire a team member who can create, introduce and manage several parallel marketing campaigns for each property. The position will require excellent communication skills, as you will be in direct correspondence with our main office and management (off site). We have a proven marketing structure currently in place, and we are eager to combine this structure with the latest and most effective marketing applications.
Key Marketing Responsibilities:
- Manage print campaigns, while maintaining our presence in social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter), other similar community sites, posting on relevant blogs, and seeding content into other social media applications.
- Be an advocate of the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate, updating management on any negative reviews or comments that are present in the digital environment, and coordinating any responses with management.
- Coordinate with on-site property management teams to ensure marketing message and campaign is enacted at each property.
- Set up and maintain SEO including Google Analytics.
- Monitor trends in all aspects of media applications used within company, and supply reporting/tracking of effectiveness along with introduction to management of new concepts for addition on our campaigns. Promptly update our websites, social media presence, and prepare aggressive marketing plan for upcoming campaign.
- Set up contacts and vendor relations with marketing outlets, and work directly with third parties companies to execute campaigns.
- Coordinate with management on campaigns and budget information for approval.
- Web site maintenance, upgrade, and possible redesigns
Key Administrative Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and assist clients and other remote employees
- Type and proof correspondence, memos, budgets, and forms
- Copy, e-mail, file and fax when needed
- Receive, open, and route mail, prepare overnight, certified and messenger mailings
- Manage, update (and close) existing corporate, client, and personnel files
- Serve as receptionist (including coffee, cleaning, and emptying trash)
- Purchase and maintain office supplies and equipment
- Compose and edit spreadsheets for several projects
- Maintain and update insurance files and accounts for many projects
- Perform daily tasks as assigned
The Requirements:
- Marketing, business, journalism, or communications degree preferred
- Good knowledge of marketing and business practices
- Marketing experience with real estate knowledge preferred
- Fluent with Microsoft Office applications along with software applicable to marketing
- Strong attention to detail, Outgoing, Self-driven and Motivated.
