MARKETING DATA SPECIALIST
Purpose And Scope:
o Manage and maintain sales/marketing database
o Pull data and generate reports and targeted mailing lists
o Serve as lead for day-to-day management of email marketing system
o Perform a variety of related tasks with autonomy and creativity
Principal Responsibilities:
o Load new data into sales/marketing database
o Pull data to generate reports and mailing lists
o Maintain accurate and complete data
o Understand, quantify, update and segment contacts in database
o Recommend changes and additions to the database
o Spearhead effort to select a universal reporting tool
Education:
o Bachelor's Degree preferred
Experience:
o 2 - 3 years experience working with marketing data or related responsibilities; online marketing and/or technology experience strongly preferred
o Experience in supporting marketing and sales efforts, including list creation and ad hoc reporting
o Experience with enterprise CRM database systems preferred
o Experience using reporting and email marketing applications a plus
Special Skills:
o Strong computer skills with expertise in Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office
o Ability to quickly learn internal database system
o Solid knowledge of database marketing best practices, procedures, and concepts
o Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability
o Knowledge of and experience with direct marketing metrics is desirable
