Pittsburgh based National Corporation is looking for a motivated and experienced “Marketing Guru” to serve as an idea generator and solid implementer to help assure creative marketing excellence as our company continues to grow. This is an exciting opportunity and has a lot of growth potential within our organization. This individual will lead our Marketing efforts and take ideas from a creative concept to full implementation and execution. This position requires a highly strategic, results driven professional with a proven track record of translating overall business and marketing strategies into concrete goals and project plans. The ideal candidate must be a creative/innovative thinker and leader who can bring a strong entrepreneurial and business sensibility to the workplace. This unique role will allow the individual that steps into this position the ability to put their stamp and marketing creativity into action.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and facilitate marketing plan for the firm
- Take on projects independently as well as leading and managing other creative resources to ensure on-time delivery for marketing projects
- Manage the marketing-driven creative aspects and content of the company websites, marketing collateral, banner ads, and emails/newsletters and all other representations of our company brand from concept through completion
- Monitor the work produced by the creative team, and help generate superior results
- Responsible for overall Social Marketing and Web presence using social media and networking tools including; Blogging, Facebook, Twitter, email, YouTube etc.
- Manage and maximize SEO across our websites by performing analysis and directing change to websites to increase optimization for search engines; including developing SEO content.
- Use data and analytics to make informed marketing campaign decisions to optimize results
- Grow brand awareness via positioning, branding, messaging, and communications programs
- Assist executive team members with presentations and other creative support
- Position, package, and creatively promote products and services to consumers
Requirements:
- Experience in brand development, marketing communications, and creative promotions
- Track record of proactively establishing and following through on commitments
- Blend of consumer insights, competitive intelligence, and technical knowledge
- Demonstrated use of analytics, metrics, and benchmarking to drive decisions
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, writing, communications, and creative skills
- Ability to write press releases, white papers and other company communications
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of Graphic Design Principles
- Team player in driving marketing results combined with a positive attitude
- Strong work ethic with a keen sense of honesty, integrity, ingenuity
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and team-oriented leader
- Demonstrated success in previous roles
- Must have SEO/SEM/DR expertise
- BA/BS required in Marketing/Communications field with a minimum of 10 years marketing experience
