Marketing Effectiveness Manager recruitment
My client is one of the largest banking corporations worldwide, with their global headquarters based in London. Successful in Corporate, Retail and Investment banking they are currently recruiting a Marketing Effectiveness Manager to work primarily across the corporate space but also to add value across the other areas they transact.
This role is primarily focused on marketing ROI. It will be the role holder's responsibility to look at current and future investment and put together a strategy to identify where money is well spent and where change is needed.
It will be the role holders' responsibilities to understand the different strategic goals across the business and make sure these are aligned and make best use of marketing spend. To do this role you need to understand the marketing cost base thoroughly and the marketing investment across the business. You will be responsible for tracking investment across the entire business. You will be well versed in analytic and modelling tools to make this possible and be able to draw business conclusions from data. You will need to stand in front of very senior business stakeholders to explain the numbers and offer your recommendations for marketing spend moving forward.
You will also be responsible for the design and testing of any marketing pilot work, putting together design frameworks and providing sampling and modelling before bringing concepts to market.
You will be responsible for tracking all marketing performance against key KPIs which you will help to set for the business.
In order to be successful in this position it is important that you are an expert in marketing analysis and can demonstrate a strong track record of delivery. You will need to have some experience in economic modelling to do this role well, but also knowledge of marketing and marketing concepts. You will need to be comfortable transacting with people across the business of all levels. You will need to sell in ideas to senior stakeholders but also work closely with those on the ground executing the work to really understand what they are doing. This role requires someone who is organised and has strong project management skills. Financial services experience would be beneficial - but not essential for this role.
