Global publisher with a heritage spanning over 200 years is hiring! We're currently looking to recruit, on a 10 month contract, a Marketing Executive with previous experience of creating and managing marketing campaigns using both digital and offline methods.
An interest or prior experience within the publishing industry would be desirable but not essential.
A little more about the role:
We are currently looking for a Marketing Executive to report into the Senior Marketing Manager and support the Physical Sciences and Engineering Marketing Team in developing and implementing marketing plans for the Statistics, Mathematics, Astronomy and Engineering Journals.
Using online marketing activities including social media and search engine optimisation the successful candidate will contribute towards the implementation of marketing plans.
A major part of the role will be to manage individual campaigns within specific timeframe and budget to deliver creative and cost effective campaigns. It will also include reporting on campaigns and activities to identify trends and results, and using multiple systems to manage various marketing data. The position will include liaising with the exhibitions team to organise and implement effective product displays.
What are we looking for?
An interest in publishing is desired and experience in marketing is essential
Proven ability in creating, monitoring and analysing marketing campaigns
The ability to work autonomously with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent time management skills are essential to meet deadlines and understand the respective demands of the Physical Sciences and Engineering Marketing team.
