Marketing Executive - Maidenhead office

NASDAQ listed document management vendor require a Marketing Executive for their Maidenhead office. They have offices all over the World and use business partners and own sales team to sell direct.

* The marketing executive will implement lead generation, relationship building and awareness activity for the region. This will include digital marketing creation, event management, direct marketing and a full range of tactical activities.
* Ensuring all corporate marketing initiatives that are relevant for reuse in the region are implemented in a timely manner to appropriate target lists to enhance awareness and drive leads- ie translating corporate initiatives into relevant activity for UK, Ireland and Benelux regions 
* Manage the customer engagement programme which will consist of webinars, newsletters, users groups and other events. Work on the content for these initiatives with products and sales teams as appropriate and monitor feedback from these programmes and look to continually improve customer communication based on their requirements 
* Work with suppliers to ensure best value from them and proactively look at opportunities which will support the marketing campaign for event sponsorship etc 
* Day to day management of the marketing budget and ensuring slick process for invoicing and payment for activities. Adhering to corporate policy and process for PO, approvals and maintaining up to date status of expenditure against budget 
* Consistent and accurate reporting on the results of campaigns. For use in the local region so that the Marketing and communications manager can make informed decisions about future marketing investment. Also feedback of local results to US corporate team on a weekly basis. Effective use of the CRM system to enable specific campaign reporting and accurate monitoring of leads passed to sales. 
* This will be a crucial role in delivering consistent quality of communication appropriate to marketing objectives outlined by the marketing and communications manager.

Main Responsibilities 
* End to end management of a high standard marketing communications programme 
* Reporting on results and continually striving for improvement of activity and of processes 
* Internal communication and collaborative working with various teams in the business to create and deliver these campaigns ( corporate marketing, local sales, EMEA marketing etc) 
* Supplier management 
* Budgetary control Qualifications and Skills 
* Ideally a qualification in marketing or communications but hands-on experience is more important 
* Telemarketing experience would be advantageous as there will be a requirement to filter leads through to sales which will involve qualification of inbound enquiries. This person needs to be confident in calling to prospects and customers. 
* Needs to be very competent at using Excel and ideally CRM systems for marketing and sales activity management. Attention to detail is important and analytical capability is as important as creativity 
* Knowledge of lead generation techniques and tools ideally in an IT, services, and certainly in a B2B environment 
* Proven marketing comms experience in IT, services, B2B 
* An understanding and experience of running successful customer and prospect (including online) marketing campaigns 
* Experience working with the sales function and confident in dealing with people at all levels 
* minimum of 3-5 years experience in marketing communications IT environment with a successful track record 
* Strong technical knowledge and/or background in a technology environment 
* An understanding on document management would be an advantage Major Accountabilities In addition to the core responsibilities listed above:-. Implementation of qualitycomms programme delivering results.

Responsibility for communicating results from campaigns to the region 
* Successful customer engagement programme ongoing 
* Work closely with other country marketing teams to ensure best re-use of collateral, vertical campaign approaches, case studies etc 
* Report back on campaign effectiveness, monitor all activities in CRM system and ensure effective ROI for individual campaigns and for the marketing programme as a whole 
* Consolidate leads and enquiries from all sources, then qualify them order to pass to sales. Ensure all inbound enquiries and leads are entered into the CRM system and into the Marketing reporting process in line with protocols 
* Identify leads by separating responses from active opportunities the filtering via the sales managers to the right sales person. Tracking the progress of leads through to opportunity and wins and completing campaign reports as appropriate to feed back into the planning process 
* Make recommendation to the marketing and comms manager on approach for programmes CIM qualification/Marketing related degree is preferred but not essential Problem solving (Describe the level of "self-starting" thinking required in the for recognizing, analysing and solving problems)

Must have proven experience working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Must also be a process-oriented individual with a proactive, positiveattitude. 

Ability to think and plan at a strategic level but also a desire to get involved and actively contribute to campaigns. ie a thinker AND a do-er.
