This is a senior position reporting directly to the Managing Director. You will have the knowledge and maturity to work with a high degree of independence and the experience to ensure that you enhance the existing Marketing expertise within the business.
Experience linked to pure marketing within the Pharmaceutical / Healthcare / Medical industries will be highly regarded as will experience from other fields such as FMCG marketing disciplines. Exposure to sales functions will be advantageous however pure marketing knowledge is the overriding criteria.
In the first instance the primary focus in this role will be to review and optimise the portfolio of existing domestic products.
A significant component in this context will be to ensure that all customers and sales personnel are provided cohesive clear communication in relation to the positioning and value propositions associated with the existing product portfolio.
While retaining hands-on ownership of all marketing functions, this role also requires a strong strategic commercial acumen in order to successfully identify business opportunities for development across domestic and international markets.
Market research will always underpin your decisions, however you will also have the ability to visualise solutions to customer needs and implement workable strategies often before the market realises the need exists.
Your experience will have ensured you have expertise across the four marketing P’s and you will be able to demonstrate experience in product portfolio management and lifecycle analysis.
