Our Client

Our client is a leading B2B media group focused on the finance and commodity sectors. They publish over 100 magazines, newsletters and online services and also run an extensive portfolio of conferences, seminars and training courses. This opportunity is to work on their flagship publication and so offers the opportunity of great exposure within the market and company.

The Role

This enticing role offers the opportunity to manage the marketing for the company’s flagship publication whilst managing one marketing executive to ensure that the publication is marketed to its maximum potential.

There would also be the opportunity to work closely with online advertising development; so if you have an interest and some experience with producing online marketing material then this role could suit you perfectly.

Primarily you would be tasked with driving new subscriptions and maintaining a high retention rate amongst existing subscribers.

You would be working towards and hopefully beating, projected subscription growth rates, and it is against this that you would be assessed; you would also be involved in setting a realistic growth rate based on the research you are obtaining from analyzing the existing marketing campaigns.

You would also work with several different departments, including the sales team, to ensure that all teams are pulling in the same direction to help present a unified solid front to the clients.

Your Background

You must have at least 3 years marketing experience, with at least one year in B2B subscriptions marketing.

It is vital that you have a keen interest and experience in producing both online and offline direct marketing campaigns.

It is essential that you are comfortable analysing the target audience to identify the best way to approach different groups within the audience to help maximise subscription rates.

You must also be an analytical thinker and enjoy being part of a team, both on a small and large level.
