Position Overview:
Miva Merchant is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Operations Manager. The Marketing Operations Manager will own the company’s CRM and marketing automation systems. The primary objective of this position will be to plan, develop and implement the technology structure for the company’s CRM system, create standard metrics and dashboard reports, and define the process and systems required for the Sales and Marketing organization to operate efficiently and productively.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System: Responsible for the successful implementation, management and day-to-day operation of CRM system.
- Marketing Systems Infrastructure: Develop and organize common performance metrics for Sales and Marketing to ensure consistent and frequent reporting against goals. Define high-level marketing technology KPIs and measurement plans.
- Measurement and Reporting: Develop and manage reporting processes and marketing dashboards. Responsible for consistency of metrics and overall data quality, including analysis of metrics and reporting against objectives and trends.
- Process Design and Documentation: Develop user training for technical and non-technical users, and provide best practices to content creators to maximize program effectiveness. Document existing processes and implement improvements to enhance marketing productivity. Recommend new systems to enhance marketing productivity.
Requirements:
- Previous experience managing the marketing operational function within a technology organization
- CRM software experience (e.g. Sugar, Salesforce.com, Sage or Oracle/Siebel)
- Marketing automation experience (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo, Silverpop, Salesforce.com)
- Experience implementing and troubleshooting CRM software
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Specific marketing technology experience with the ability to define a marketing technology vision and strategy
- Knowledge of the ecommerce industry preferred
- Strong knowledge of database software, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time with a focus on revenue goals
- Strong strategic thinking and creative problem solving
- 5-7+ years marketing operations experience – direct marketing, IT marketing or database marketing within a technology company.
- Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing preferred
