Marketing Manager
Excelsior's client is looking to identify high quality marketing manager. This position offers significant autonomy and freedom, and the success of the marketing programs you run will be measurable and deliver a return on invesment.
In this position you will develop and drive the marketing strategy and tactics to acquire new leads for the sales organization, increase solution awareness and improve sales efficiency. You will take accountability for delivering a field marketing program that maximizes business results. As part of this process you will determine the appropriate marketing messaging, marketing mix and channel strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and executes strategic and tactical marketing plans.
- Develop and deliver field marketing programs globally.
- Input into marketing and sales communications materials, including print advertising, direct mail, sales brochures and presentations.
- Create localized content for product collateral, industry thought leadership pieces and messaging.
- Manage new product rollouts, including requirements for new marketing materials and product demonstrations, as well as coordination of internal briefings.
- Maintain the sales/marketing database of both existing and potential clients using SalesForce.com.
- Track, manage and measure (ROI) leads through Salesforce.com
- Track and review industry conferences and seminars, recommending participation where appropriate and schedule/coordinate attendance.
- Oversee tradeshow participation and logistics (image and messaging).
- Manage website development, content, updates and routine maintenance for primary product line.
- Track and review competitor activity and industry trends on an on-going basis.
- Responsible for continuing a strong relationship between marketing, sales and product teams.
Experience:
- Experience marketing enterprise wide software solutions to financial services firms.
- Knowledge of financial markets and practices.
- Ability to develop and
- implement marketing communication plans.
- Thorough knowledge of salesforce.com including reporting, cleansing and bulk communication add-ons
