Marketing Manager, Builder Multi-Family

Ingersoll Rand Residential Solutions, a business comprised of well-known brands like Schlage and Trane, delivers safety, comfort and efficiency to homeowners throughout North America. Our quality products, services and solutions include mechanical and electronic locks, heating and air conditioning systems, indoor air quality solutions, advanced controls, portable security systems and remote home management.

The position is responsible for driving strategic growth of the builder/pro and multi-family channel customers through effective planning, marketing program development and execution, and life cycle management. This includes developing an annual marketing plan, demand creation (promotion) plan and flawless launch of product introductions.

•Develop and execute annual marketing and demand creation (promotion) plan
•Lead new product introductions efforts within channel including collateral development, communication strategy, merchandizing procurement, training tools and execution
•Responsible for leading and execution of price book and pricing strategy
•Develop builder/dealer loyalty programs
•Develop and manage channel marketing budget and expenses including forecast accuracy
•Drive strategy and execution for merchandizing vision into dealer/builder channels
•Aligns channel marketing communications strategies with brand strategies
•Work closely with sector marketing and branding
•Leads customer-facing enterprise strategic initiatives; representing Residential Solution sector
•Work closely with customer marketing and vertical marketing leaders; expand and grow customer level marketing relationships
•Interpret market and channel macro trends into channel strategies
•Analyze and report progress against campaign goals and ROI
•Evaluates current product mix and makes recommendations based on meetings with customer and evaluation of the competitive set
•Makes strategic recommendations and drive business case development for growth initiatives including product /solution gaps, demand creation and/or program development
•Work closely with Product Marketing Manager to support ongoing priorities, including product presentations, trade shows, research and competitive intelligence
•Monitor and analyze competitive activities within channel(s) including price, promotion, new products or merchandizing
•Identify and support new areas of market opportunity / channel expansion
•Serve on strategic business initiative(s) as determined by manager
•Works with web team on builder / multi-family content and strategy
•Maintain and develop Residential literature portfolio and execution of literature program
•Develop and maintain Trade Show booth presentation materials
•Work with Product Marketing teams to ensure timely and relevant communications to Field Sellers on product and program initiatives
•Develop and execute effective Builder Partnership Program
•Develop effective product image library
•Develop and work with appropriate stakeholders on a field communication and training strategy
•Develop and coordinate software Plan-o-gram Program
