Marketing Manager / Director recruitment

KERESPONSIBILITIES

Recruit and manage the marketing team.

Taking input from market reports, commissioned market studies, sales staff and direct discussions with clients and brokers, monitor, track and evaluate market trends and identify market opportunities for the company.

Put forward a comprehensive marketing strategy for the company and set this out in an all encompassing marketing strategy plan.  This will describe all programmes and budgets.

Determine new markets, products and services to take to market that expand the company’s offerings and strategic importance.

Secure full approval of the strategic marketing plan from the CEO and the board as a whole.

Manage the implementation of all marketing programmes and monitor the success of implemented programmes and ensure they run to budget.

Communicate the strategy around the company so that all appropriate staff knows what programme plans and timetables are planned.

Contribute to the management’s thinking on wider aspects of company strategies, planning and decisions.

Negotiate best deals with marketing suppliers such as agencies, web designers, printers and telemarketing and manage these relationships.

Oversee the design of all promotional materials and manage their production to timetable and budget.

Write marketing progress reports and comprehensively present progress in management and board meetings.

                       EXPERIENCE PROFILE

Has a minimum of 5 years experience as a senior marketer or head of marketing in a small to medium sized financial services business where digital and online marketing are the major part of the marketing mix. Digital marketing knowledge and experience is one of the key skills sought.

Has experience of setting up or working with inbound and outbound call centres to achieve sales of products and services ideally in a business to consumer market.

Ideally has been operating in subprime services sector and has experience of the new potential product areas such as banking services, insurance, IVA and loans for subprime clients.

Is very good at presenting new ideas.

An excellent verbal communicator and good at writing comprehensive marketing plans, programme plans and meeting slides.  Capable of selling his/her ideas to superiors and colleagues.

A good implementer and good at monitoring programme performance and managing for success and good cost control.

Is reliable, conscientious and of stable personality. Very good at getting on with other members of staff and outside personnel such as agencies.

Has the ability to see things through to conclusion

Very IT literate and has good knowledge of Web marketing, web design and SEO concepts.

Capable of contributing at management board meetings and decisions.
