Marketing Manager – Financial Technology recruitment
You will play a key role in delivering global marketing initiatives in a 'hands on' capacity. This is a real marketing position, not just PR and writing presentations - it will allow you to perform the real nuts and bolts elements of what marketing really involves - logistics mixed with a creative 'thinking on your feet' element.
You will be mentored by a superb Global Marketing Director who is looking for a creative, organised and proactive professional who wants to develop their marketing career further.
Our client is an innovative technology provider to the financial services industry with an excellent reputation and a growing client base. As part of their continued growth (with several client wins) , there is the need to hire in to this newly created position for a marketing professional to assist the Global Marketing Director through the following marketing tasks:
Logistics - Organise Attract industry forum attendees / contact, organise and pay suppliers / marketing collateral / Organise setup event stands and supporting technology with materials / Complete campaign work / Collaborate with relevant internal and expternal peers agencies to manage marketing project lifecycles
Creative - gradually build your knowledge on the job learning about how marketing campaings are managed by offering support and ideas to the Marketing Director.
Marketing Projects - An understanding / use of saleforce.com or other CRM tool would be highly beneficial in this role. One of the most critical responsibilities in this role is being able to leverage the power of the CRM tool (and its 6000 market contacts) to help quantify the success and of course eventual revenue that is being driven by the marketing efforts.
There is a great opportunity for this person to develop the role and ‘make it their own’, and be involved in global initiatives - so travel to international destinations is required
Appropriate applicants will have:
- Experience in a hands on marketing role (preferably 5 years) with proven ability to make marketing campaigns happen behind the scenes
- Creative writing / telephone communication skills to influence professionals you work with
- Must be able to develop close working relationships internally and externally with suppliers and clients / potential clients
- Happy to travel internationally to setup events / work with 3rd party providers
- Passion / Self determination Drive
- Strong work ethic, where you aren't afraid of the more mundane tasks like keeping track of international invoicing related to events and managing budgets
