Job Scope:
NEXEN Tire America Inc is seeking a Marketing Manager to work together with the Executive Management Team on the company’s strategic goals. This position reports to the General Manager and Vice President of Sales. This position will be responsible for advertisement, public relations, product marketing, and brand development in accordance with the company’s short and long term objectives.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute annual marketing plan and programs to ensure the profit and sales growth.
- Research, analyze and monitor market activity, market trends, and competitive activity so that market opportunity may be capitalized.
- Assume leadership position with regards to maintaining, updating and improving company’s website and social media
- Plan and oversee the design, production and printing of company’s catalogs and brochures
- Plan and oversee the design, production, and distribution of the company’s promotional products
Qualifications:
This is a challenging position that would be ideal for a creative individual who is a self-starter, and has the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing and competitive environment. The successful applicant will have:
- BA/BS degree required, coursework emphasis in business/marketing preferred.
- 5+ years experience in marketing, tire industry preferably
- Demonstrated experience in project management and analysis
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written skills
- Results oriented, self-motivated
- Top quality presentation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Computer literate in web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively research, analyze and organize a variety of data and identify marketing trends
