MARKETING MANAGER
Salary: £25k - £30k + Annual Sales Bonus
My client is a leading Electrical Manufacturer with head office and production facilities based in the North East. Their product range is extensive and covers both traditional, contemporary and bespoke products that are sold through Independent Electrical Distributors and via the external sales force who work closely with Consulting Engineers, Architects and Contractors to gain product specification.
In 2012, they will also be launching a second website which will be targeting direct sales to the upper end domestic market.
As a result of the continued and planned future growth of the business, they now need to recruit a specialist Marketing Manager, to assist them in achieving 1, 3 and 5 year growth targets.
OUTLINE JOB SPECIFICATION
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following areas
Corporate identity – maintaining a consistent corporate image in the marketplace
Company advertising – full responsibility for all company advertising including design, placement, follow up and impact monitoring
Editorial Features – planning an ongoing campaign of editorial features to ensure that the company is perceived as a progressive and prominent player within the marketplace.
Social Networking – establishing a corporate policy towards social networking sites and implementing.
Direct sales Website – monitor the effectiveness of the direct sales website and liaise with web developers with regards to strategies to improve site hits
Market Information – establish key market information for dissemination to senior management
Target New Customers – identify potential new key customers
Experience Required :
Experience in the lighting or electrical industry would be an advantage
Experience within a manufacturing company would be an advantage
Experience gained with innovative decorative products would be an advantage
Minimum 2 years continuous employment within a stand alone Marketing role is required
