We are seeking a bright, effective Marketing Manager to join our team.
This position WILL only be based in our headquarters office, in Chino, CA. We are seeking local candidates at this time.
Summary of Primary Job Responsibilities
Responsible for all marketing activities related to Alorica’s North American service offerings. Primary goals are to help Alorica achieve its North American revenue target, increase Alorica’s brand awareness / recognition in the marketplace, and establish a positive reputation for Alorica. The individual will be responsible for the execution of Alorica’s North American marketing plan – which includes; marketing collateral, external communications, direct marketing, event management, digital marketing, and public relations activities.
Marketing Programs - Manage the execution of a comprehensive integrated Marketing strategy, which should result in increased awareness for Alorica in the desired vertical markets, position of thought leadership and additional revenue for North America. Support sales activities for lead generation, brand support and win teams.
PR Activities – Able to effectively create press releases that will generate media attention. Responsible for activities between Alorica internal resources and possibly an external PR agency to aggressively create awareness in targeted Trade Associations and organizations. Liaison with PR agency or other related activities.
Communications – Responsible for all external communications tools/vehicles including users conference, advisory councils, presentation material, collateral, etc. Must have a passion for writing and proofing.
Event Management – Responsible for all North American Marketing and Sales events including trade shows, client events, etc.
Travel will be required – approx 20%.
Education/ Experience:
- Minimum Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, PR, Journalism, English or related field.
- 6+ years experience in marketing, product management, strategic planning or research of which at least 2+ years must have been in a leadership role
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills: PowerPoint, Word, Excel. Experience with desktop publishing applications
- Understanding of the Customer Management (contact center) market is an added benefit.
Skills:
- Detailed Understanding of marketing – planning, programs, public relations, communications, and associated best practices
- Demonstrated ability to execute marketing programs for services oriented companies
- Expertise as a media contact and with public relations programs
- Advanced writing and editing skills for collateral and web copy, newsletters, and press release composition
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking ability.
Knowledge/Abilities:
- Demonstrated ability to execute effective marketing programs
- Ability to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly and simply
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction
- Demonstrated personal drive and sense of urgency
- Meticulous attention to meeting timelines
- Effective business acumen – industry knowledge preferred
