Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc., a global leader in forensic consulting services, is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Marketing Manager to expand our Los Angeles/Orange County area market share.

 

Job description


The position will be a direct liaison between our client base and operations personnel to promote forensic consulting services. Promptly address client needs related to the services sought, build trust, create value driven relationships, communicate effectively, and solve problems creatively and efficiently. The position requires the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision, exercising initiative and independent judgment in the performance of assigned tasks, managing the entire sales cycle from identification of a prospect to receipt of sales through account management.

 

Summary of responsibilities

ü       Expand Rimkus’ network of contacts within the Insurance, Legal, Construction and Property Development communities in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

ü       Fostering business opportunities with existing and new clients and pursuing new business opportunities in the insurance, legal, and construction areas

ü       Account Management for existing client base with local, regional, and national reach

ü       Development of business from Insurance contacts within Property, Auto, General Liability, SIU, Construction, Product Liability, and other lines of insurance

ü       Developing strategies for increasing outreach to clients to add to the firm’s client base

ü       Arrange business opportunity meetings between Rimkus operations management and key Insurance, Legal, Construction and Property Development industry decision makers

ü       Collaborate with the District Manager to develop sales targets for new and existing clients

ü       Coordinate capabilities presentations, particularly for the construction market

ü       Collaborate with operations management in developing responses to RFQs and RFPs

ü       Accomplish 12-15 weekly in-person client meetings

ü       Directly manage all Accounts Receivable collection efforts

ü       Assess potential partnerships for co-marketing opportunities

ü       Maintain awareness of market conditions and potential opportunities

ü       Meet organizational objectives while adapting to industry fluctuations

ü       Dissemination of print and electronic marketing materials

ü       Development of annual marketing plan in conjunction with operations department for the District’s annual Business Plan

ü       Understand and communicate Rimkus’ breadth and depth of services and capabilities

 

Required education, experience, and abilities

 

ü       Marketing/Business degree required, MBA preferred.

ü       Consideration will be given for a practicing design professional with demonstrated business development skills in the A/E/C markets

ü       7-10 years business to business, professional level sales

ü       Working knowledge of the insurance and legal industries

ü       Working knowledge of A/E/C concepts

ü       A high energy, outgoing and self-motivated individual

ü       Articulate in both written and oral communications

ü       Ability to understand the importance of effective teamwork

ü       Ability to gain access and effectively interact at high levels within client organizations

ü       Experience selling within the insurance and/or legal industries preferred

ü       Proficiency with contact management database software Microsoft CRM

ü       Ability to develop client base by attending after-hours business related events and social functions
