Marketing Manager 

Job Summary:

The Marketing Manager achieves the organization’s business development objectives by researching and developing marketing opportunities and plans in defined market segments.


Essential Functions:

¨      Branding: Build brand, and brand new product lines and programs. Influence communication through distribution system to improve the look and language of the organization in order to create a unified, professional image.

¨      Identify new marketing opportunities: Analyze and define the market for product growth. Identify and develop communications with target markets through multiple marketing channels.

¨      Marketing and Business Planning: Develop marketing plans, business plans, sales strategies, and action plans for identified targets.

¨      Advertising coordination: Create and coordinate advertising, public relations, and special promotions for lead generation, recruiting, and retention (domestic and international).

¨      Special Event Planning: Assist in coordinating conventions, trade shows, sales conferences and meetings (domestic and international).

¨      New Product Development: Research competition and provide recommendations for new product development. Coordinate with all departments to develop and implement new product design, sales, production, and launch strategies.

¨      Measure effectiveness of programs: Track, analyze, and measure results of programs.

¨      Maintains research database: Identify and assemble marketing information.

 

Responsibilities Include:

¨      Develops marketing staff by providing information, educational opportunities, and experiential growth opportunities.

¨      Lead, supervise, and evaluate the marketing staff by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

¨      Member and company representative for the local chapter of the American Marketing Association and the Direct Marketing Association.

 

Qualifications:

¨      BS in Marketing or equivalent education.

¨      Minimum five years experience in marketing, including consumer products and direct sales experience.

¨      Experience managing and motivating others, with strong team leadership ability.

¨      Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Compensation

¨      $60-$65K/YR

¨      After 90 days eligible for Medical Benefits and 401K
