Marketing Manager – Physician

At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a Marketing Manager - Physicians Business with Athena a Quest Diagnostics Company.

Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze Athena’s business in the Physician Channel and identify opportunities to expand business in existing accounts and deepen penetration in new accounts.
• Identify, quantify and communicate the incremental revenue opportunities within the early life applications, select International markets, and technology platforms and apply to tactical/strategic planning.
• Identify and create strategies to optimize the Company’s reimbursement strategies.
• Determine marketing objectives, and develop plans and schedules to launch programs to capitalize on those opportunities. Create and deliver segmentation, targeting and positioning tactics for the sales force and field support staff.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers in the development and implementation of all programs.
• Develop strategies and make recommendations with regard to whether Physician Group Purchasing Associations can help Athena reach more practices within the Neurology specialty
• Work with Marketing Communications team to enhance the Athena Brand position within the Physician Channel
• A full commitment to the success of the business, an entrepreneurial spirit and high standards of quality are essential to this role.
• All other duties as assigned

Bachelor’s degree required. Masters degree in business, marketing, life sciences or related field strongly preferred.
• Team player capable of leading and participating in cross-functional project teams to meet key milestones under tight timelines
• Demonstrated record of exceeding expectations in growing business in sales and/or marketing capacity
• Strong work ethic with ability to work independently
• Excellent presentation and analytical skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Windows, etc

• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience including: product management, marketing, physician sales, marketing strategy, e-marketing, consulting or equivalent
• Prior experience in healthcare/pharmaceutical/diagnostics/biotechnology industry required

Travel 10-20%
