Marketing Manager recruitment

The Americas Marketing Team for Global Transaction Banking (GTB) seeks a creative, enthusiastic, ambitious and organized Marketing Manager with an interest in regional and global marketing and communications.

Work includes projects across three business lines – Cash Management, Trade Finance and Trust and Securities Services – in a friendly atmosphere within a fast-paced and professional environment.

You will be responsible mainly for all GTB internal communications in the Americas region including articles for newsletters, the intranet networks, email blasts and announcements. You will write external communication pieces where needed including articles for client newsletters, letters, promotional copy and invitation copy. Additional duties include assisting the Regional Marketing Head on the overall planning and coordination of marketing activities from strategy, idea generation, concept development, materials development, production timeline and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

Internal Communications, Americas

• Serve as key contact on all aspects of GTB internal communication for Americas region
• Liaise with GTB Functional Lead on internal communications and assist as needed
• Write about complex subject matter in a logical and concise manner using proper grammar in a professional style
• Work in conjunction with the business line as well as GTB Marketing colleagues to write content for:
o Intranet websites and networks
o Internal Newsletters and email blasts
o External Client Newsletters
o External Client Communications
o Assist on Press as projects and needs arise

Marketing Activity:
• Assist on strategic activities ranging from campaigns, third-party conferences, client forums, events, tradeshows and webcasts/webinars:
o Interact with business line representatives and corporate events teams to select themes, topics and locations. Must be able to provide both direction and feedback and keep the project or event on schedule
o Communicate with industry association representatives on Bank’s participation and deliverables
o Work with corporate events to handle all logistical details accurately and on schedule
o Some light travel may be required
o Conduct post-event follow-up
o Work with designers on graphic development and imagery for advertisements, invitations and other promotional pieces.
o Proven ability to proof both copy and image placement on graphic/marketing pieces
o Assist with the administration duties surrounding projects and intranet updates as needed

You will have:

• Bachelors degree in Marketing and Communications or related field (or relevant international equivalent)
• Previous experience in Marketing and Communications, with an emphasis on communication skills ( oral and written) and project management
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proven ability to work under strict deadlines and time constraints while still producing accurate and professional content
• Great attention to detail
• Excellent skills in all Microsoft software applications, especially Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Vendor negotiation skills
