Marketing Manager recruitment

Role

• To support the planning and execution of retail marketing programmes in the UK

• Campaign delivery to retain and grow the existing direct book.

• Assist with the development of digital marketing programmes to retain and grow existing direct client base.

• Assist with the planning and implementation of our CRM strategy

• Supporting the evolution of the online and offline end client user experience.

• Track and assist with the development of a social media strategy to enhance brand and customer loyalty

• Assist with the development of online and offline educational materials to support brand presence and product offering covering the range of investment options from ISA through to SIPPs. Develop effective competitor tracking programmes.

• Providing regular updates on competitor activities.

• Monitoring target publications to identify topics of interest to end customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop with senior marketing support the campaign communications programmes to deliver against our retail direct objectives.

• Support delivery of all related marketing campaigns including ISA season.

• Delivery of HTML e-mails to the direct base and potential prospect lists.

• Assist with the development of an innovative and engaging digital marketing initiative to drive new asset flows and improve service perception.

• Develop and maintain the end investor literature suite, fulfilment and follow up process.

• Enhance, monitor and review our retail and defined contribution investor websites

• Enhance the e-buy online and online customer experience. 

• Support new product launches to the end investor base as appropriate , working closely with the

• Senior Marketing manager leading new product launches, product development and sales.

• Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and contact programmes preparing a comprehensive reporting MI pack highlighting where improvements can be implemented.

• Ensure full regulatory compliance of all role related UK wholesale marketing materials, processes, procedures and campaigns.

• Ensure all role related budgets are approved by the senior marketing managers and marketing and related costs are processed in the budget

• Build understanding of our product range and the competitors 

• Ensure the work of the team is promoted through internal communication channels e.g. the intranet, this week in London etc.

Person Specification

• A marketing manager with a minimum of five years experience in retail financial services or a FMCG company

• A marketing manager with demonstrable marketing experience including digital, clear strategy development and experience planning and implementing customer retention programmes.

• A keen interest in using social media and development in e-marketing innovation and customer insight measurement techniques.

• Provable interest in financial services for those candidates with no financial services experience.

• Needs to be outgoing, professional and confident. Flexible and adaptable with a can do attitude. 

• Proven ability to deliver on projects undertaken.

• Experience of using CRM systems (e.g. Sales Force/Pivotal) for marketing purposes and customer segmentation techniques   

• Experience of developing enhanced html email templates and programmes

• Academic/Professional Qualifications (or equivalent qualifiers)

Degree or marketing qualification preferred but not essential.
