Marketing Manager – Structured Finance – Market Development recruitment
This position is central in providing market intelligence to the Ratings business, and specifically (but not only) to the Structured Finance department. This role will be the "point person" who understands and stays on top of all issues relating to European Structured Finance, anticipates opportunities presented by market changes, and provides reports and facilitates commercial activity to grow the business.
This role is not purely research, it is focused on providing a clear and grounded view of the market based on research which can be used to facilitate and support revenue generation and wider business management. This work will also involve commercial acumen to understand how this is best achieved.
Responsibilities:

SF Market Intelligence - use external research and internal processes to stay on top of the European Structured Finance market. Understand market issues and implications impacting the ESF ratings business and deliver regular reports to establish performance, track issues and recommend action. Deliverables are a number of reports such as missed deal reporting, monthly research library etc however the main impetus of this role is to work closely with ESF management to provide insights and work on a variety of initiatives that respond to the market and grow the business.

Origination / Prospecting - work within the Market Intelligence team to deliver a number of projects aimed at identifying revenue opportunities (not specific to SF). Work involves researching markets from a macro level down to identifying target companies and individuals and feeding this into a sales pipeline. Includes for example: identifying future growth markets (geographies and industries), analyzing exiting business performance and considering improved focus, defining approach, positioning, value propositions, pitching slides and working with Sales and team members to provide as prospects on SFDC.

Work across the EMEA ratings business on various strategic projects such as main stream Market Sizing, NBD business cases and setting strategic objectives.

Participate in weekly practice champion process within Market development.

Propose new ways of communicating with the markets and customers and of increasing cooperation and synergies with other SP business units.

Participate in outreach to the market (support relationships with arrangers or issuers.)
Skills
- Understanding of the European Structured Finance Market.
- Knowledge of Ratings would be useful, Capital Markets a must.
- Knowledge and experience of market intelligence / research and outreach.
- Professional Qualification and Degree.
- A commercial focused individual who turns research into action into revenue.
