Description
An integral member of the business team assessing the branding, marketing, and communications needs of BNY Mellon Wealth Management ('WM'). Responsible for initiating and coordinating activities to achieve strategic marketing objectives. Lead contributor to the development, implementation, and tracking of tactical marketing plans. In coordination with other BNY Mellon WM marketing managers, sales management, corporate resources, and executive management, develops and executes plans to deliver consistent BNY Mellon WM brand messages and strategies to maximize new business growth and client/intermediary relationships. May manage and develop staff.
Create compelling and differentiating presentational and seminar materials for use in marketing WM services and providing critical educational content and insights to diverse audiences.
Specific responsibilities include the ability to:
* Manage development of presentation materials from idea creation to final product. Topics include investment management, wealth and estate planning as well as niche areas like planned giving and philanthropy.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand complex subjects, develop content and create stories
* Identify and recommend new ways to convey themes and messages in creative or engaging ways
* Think creatively in developing presentations with strong content and visuals
Qualifications
Minimum 7 years of successful product/marketing support experience in a major corporation, within the financial services industry. Minimum 5 years of proven project management experience in a fast-paced, highly visible environment. Expert knowledge of the marketplace, products/services, sales process, business objectives and regulatory/competitive environment. Ability to analyze complex financial needs, products and processes, and exceptional organizational and communication skills. College degree required.
